The Conceptual Age "A Rising Power to New Mediums of Web-Based Education"

Throughout the history of American education, classrooms have been self contained entities. Innovations in technology are giving rise to powerful new models of collaboration. Perhaps in the not quite distant future theses classrooms will merge on a new venture. A venture while making profound changes in the way education is delivered to students.

Students in Junior High, High School and college are now finding means to communicate through the use of social networking tools, such as blogs, wikis… Continue

NECC 2009

NECC 2009 was held in Washington D.C. this year and it was a wonderful opportunity to see and experience the latest innovations in Educational Technology. There were so many things to see that one cannot see them all. You have to focus in a particular area.

I look forward to bringing forth some partnerships that will benefit the children of… Continue

Once again, overwhelmed by the sheer amount of content that came out of NECC. My largest lesson learned was time management and focus on core area of interest. It is very hard to choose 1 candy when in the candy shop.

I spent a great deal of time on Twitter and realized, after the experience, that much of what was posted could be very easily taken out of context. I often ended up tracking down particular statements to the sessions in which they were said, and then having to locate video clips,… Continue
